“I recently worked with Culbertson Restoration on a large brownstone restoration project in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the First Presbyterian Church. They were responsible for implementing repairs developed by me in conjunction with Atkin, Olshin, Schade Architects. The work included patching, stone replacement, and pointing. I found Culbertson to be a pleasure to work with. They proceeded professionally through the project, which was well managed by their project managers, and well executed by their mechanics. They handled two difficult stone supply situations with aplomb, and had no concerns or difficulties with removing and replacing stones at the facade, including fitting in some ill-cut new stones. The pointing work they performed (large ribbon joints in random rock-faced ashlar) was particularly well and neatly done. I would recommend this firm to anyone looking for a professional contractor that is skilled with masonry restoration.”

“The Culbertson organization has done masonry work here at Westminster Presbyterian Church for at least 15 years. Some of the sections of the church are over 100 years old. Culbertson Restoration has done all of our masonry and repointing for the entire church exterior over the years. We find then to be very professional, timely and a skilled work force. I highly recommend them for any building exterior work of any size and scope.”

“I write to commend one of your employees, Mr. Matt Machamer, on a job well done!
“Matt would arrive faithfully at our church every morning around 6:45 a.m. from the last week of June through the second week of July. We had asked Culbertson Restoration to remove caulk from all our many church windows on the southside of our church building and replace with new sealant. Except for the first several days, Matt worked alone.
“I observed his careful attention to detail as he first scraped and removed the old window caulking, and then his clean and steady hand as he installed new
caulking. He always cleaned up after each day work. He worked hard even as the outside temperature was in the upper 80’s to low 90’s. He also handled the aerial .lift used at the job site carefully and expertly and never operated it in an unsafe manner as he worked. When our Vacation Bible School was in progress during the last week of June and he had to share his lift with a busy parking lot he always positioned it carefully to create as little disruption as possible.
“I was impressed with Matt’s work ethic and believe you have a fine
employee in this man.”
